This beautiful German Shepherd is a memorial painting; Casy died of a heart condition about a year ago. Her master actually lives in Germany so this painting is going the furthest afield of all the portraits I've done thus far.

I have been spending the last few weeks doing what I love:
painting Pet Portraits.
Whether the pet is noble, gentle, beautiful or goofy, my goal is to convey those qualities and create a lasting memory.
